A friend posted this (on Facebook, for better or worse, as other threads have discussed 🙂 ), and I thought it might interest others here.

The line that sticks with me is, “Each of us is standing in the place of Adam and Eve with our little compasses and squares given to us by Joseph as a reminder that, like him, we are God’s architects, not just laborers, but designers.”

I thought it was a great piece. I think most of us here wrestle with JS, I know that I do. Coming to term is very hard. This last week we sang ” Prase to the man” and I couldn’t do it and that use to be one of my favorite hymns. I have sense wondered how JS would have reacted to that song and all the other things we say about him. I wonder if he would agree with what John Taylor said the JS has done more for mankind than any other man save Jesus Christ. I know that a true humble servent of God would not want to hear those words spoken about him/herself.
