I’m glad that’s over.

It’s not good for one man’s family (or the missionary fund) to make a profit – even if it was going to be a measly one – off his GC talk, but how do you draw the rest of the lines? I admit I’m ignorant of the workings of Deseret Book. General authorities who write books get an author’s cut of the profit?

Or maybe there’s not really a way to draw the lines and the market takes care of most of it. There’s an acceptance of certain enterprises – EFY is considered okay by many/most – and less acceptance of others? My first Time Out For Women was my last.
