This speech is worth watching in its entirety. The EQ teacher today showed it to introduce a discussion about a couple of Pres. Nelson’s talks. That instructor is not close to being a “liberal” member. It was an excellent lesson and discussion.
I am not going to nitpick it based on history. It is an amazing speech in and of itself, and I am grateful for the cooperation since he became the President.

The NAACP asked the Church to share its self-reliance materials with inner-city organizations. They also suggested including information about the dangers of pay day loans and other issues that are huge in those communities. The Church agreed to share the materials and make the suggested additions. Sometimes bridging gaps backwards is the best people can do. Excellent. Thanks for sharing. This is a big step in a positive direction.
