GuestThis has been a very tough week for me when it comes to my New Year’s Resolution for the month – to not make a mock of others. It’s not that I actively have been mocking others on a grand scale this week, but I have been distracted for much of the week and have succumbed to a few situations where I could have been much kinder and less mocking.
Quote:If there has been one lesson for me this week, it is a reiteration that the type of progress I am seeking does not come automatically – without conscious thought and effort.
So, I hope everyone has a great week and is able to a better job with whatever you are trying to accomplish than I did this past week. All I can do is refocus and try to do a little better this week, which is the heart of my resolution structure anyway.

GuestIt’s like someone very wise once said, “no one was ever embarassed over what they didn’t say”. The other helpful hint is to stay away from internet forums when you’re not one with the universe. July 19, 2011 at 4:30 pm #244952Anonymous
GuestI just want to say that I think this goal to refrain from mocking others is a good one. It really is the heart of arrogance and thoughtless comments to others that make them angry and encourage a feeling of belittlement. I’ve had to catch myself a few times when people have made what I feel are very dumb comments. The words come to my mind “this person doesn’t even know the basicsof debt and interest” at one point, but I immediately threw it out of my mind, realizing I don’t know the basics of electronics or health care or even construction. Guest“The other helpful hint is to stay away from internet forums when you’re not one with the universe.” Yeah, there is that.
