I generally agree with you on this, Ray, but it can seem like a cop out for the church. It is like when we are told we are under condemnation for not understanding the current scriptures enough so new scripture can’t be given us until we have “enough faith”.

Do we need more faith as the masses, or do the leaders need more faith to be as strong as Joseph was?

Eu’s questions are good ones, they make me question my faith because one must go on faith and personal revelation when the major angelic visions and such that were reported are no longer being reported by the current prophets. However this pattern is the same through the scriptures as well.

This is why personal revelations by the still small voice are more efficacious to my testimony than seeking signs.
