I moved this new member’s as yet unapproved introduction to the parking lot for review. My inclination is to disapprove with the explanation that such “research” is not the purpose of our forum, but I think it’s worth discussing here lest I do anything rash.

I would say that is the right call.

First, it reads like a cut and paste message. Second, it is kind of like Bridget Night trying to pitch her book here at first.

We just can’t go there – and there is nothing in the message about support.

I went ahead and disapproved the post and sent him a nice note wishing him well in his endeavor and thanking him for helping people increase their faith. I also told him his participation is welcome here if he desires to contribute to our mission.
