Shawn/Nephite Moved Topic: Suing the Church

I moved the whole thread to the parking lot, including the report that Wayfarer sent.

I agreed with him it should be deleted, but moved it so you all could discuss how to handle it.

I will send a PM to Shawn to let him know where it went, as well as doug and roy so they know where it went.

I’m still troubled by how to handle Shawn/Nephite. He has deep problems. Some posts seem to contribute to the group’s discussions…some are from left field.

Thoughts?

His post does not fit into the mission of our site. We can’t offer legal advice or have a discussion about suing organizations or individuals. I can sympathize with his situation on a personal level, but the topic isn’t about resolving faith or church activity.

I agree. I will send a PM to him stating such.

Let’s continue to keep a close eye on him. Is he working through issues? Or do his issues just create random things he will be posting to the site? I don’t know what to do about it…not sure it is grounds for banning, even if we have to moderate it occasionally.

But this thread on suing the church will be left on the parking lot for good.

wayfarer sent him a long PM about the situation and copied me. It was an excellent message. I responded to that one then read this thread and the other one Brian moved.

I think he got the message. :thumbup: – although I doubt it will stop his bi-polar comments and posts. Dude has some serious issues. I wonder if he and RagDollSally could get together . . . never mind. 😈
