Ray – well, no one cares what you think anyway, Harvard Man! 🙄 Sorry, that just cracked me up. Totally out of line.Good job, guys. I think we’ve done the best we could on this. It does irk me not to win someone over to reasonableness.

It actually made me laugh, as well – but I’m sure we shouldn’t share it outside this little group of tedious turds and power mad tyrants. That is a phrase I think I will remember for a long time with fondness.
😆 He’s back – with a totally sarcastic remark on the Perceptions thread. I am willing to delete the comment, but someone else needs to talk with him about it. We can’t go through this again with him. I don’t see anything by my own response under the “Perceptions” thread. Did you delete his already? Yes. I deleted it after he posted another one that was even more argumentative and personal. Given what he said and how he said it (and the fact that neither of them was about the topic in any way), I went ahead and banned him temporarily again while we talk about it. Sounds good. I really am not overly concerned about handling trouble-makers with kid gloves. He got smacked for doing exactly the same thing before, only I tried very nicely to explain it to him and coach a little. If he doesn’t get it, he ain’t gonna get it.
Does anyone have a problem either lengthening the ban for more than 7 days? I think it should be longer than the last time, since he came in insults flying and didn’t even try to be constructive. Suggestions?
If he comes back again, just perma-ban him. He doesn’t seem like he is ready for what we have to offer. He seems like he needs to simmer and stew a little longer before the soup is done 
Oh yeah, one other thing. Ray,
Let Angela, Orson or Me be the ones to moderate and ban this guy. He seems to be fixating and focusing on you. He seems a little wierd like that. That way it won’t look like a personal response from you (like you delete him just because you don’t like what he says about you). I trust your judgement. If his posts are grossly offensive, nuke it.
I think this guy is a real drama llama — one of those people that wants to cause problems and polarize people into the “for him” and “against him” camps. It all revolves around him…

When one of us bans someone, do they see who did it – or does it just show as being banned by the admins?
