    Hello everyone.

    We are about 6 weeks out to the deadline for our renewal.

    I’m thinking that we should let STAYLDS expire.

    If we do, I think it would be helpful to give everyone as much notice as possible.

    I don’t disagree, but it is with a very heavy heart. I will miss the interactions here, even though they are far fewer than days past. I consider some of you my friends. But the writing does appear to be on the wall.

    I wouldn’t mind the site staying up if nothing more than having people’s posts up there for archive/history/reference sake. Even if there are no new posts.

    If MormonHeritic is still okay with paying the bill, why not keep it around another year? If he doesn’t feel like paying the bill, yeah it may be time.

    Is the balance for the year. I can reach out to Mormon Heretic to ask if he would be willing to support us for another year if that’s what the group wants. If it weren’t for his generosity, we would have needed to close down before now.

    Would the idea be that we would maintain the page in it’s current state perpetually? I just feel that the page has fewer and fewer people that come here struggling and in need of support. There seems to be lots of other places that people are turning to to fulfill those needs. It is mostly us regulars here and interacting with each other and I’d think there could be cheaper ways for us to keep in contact if that’s what we really want.

    I received a notification from our hosting service that they had trouble with the auto-pay set up to charge the credit card on file. I went in manually and the payment cleared just fine. In case anyone else has received alerts of non-payment, this has been resolved as of today 2/7/2025 at 10:47am PST.
