Well to be FAIR (no pun intended) I could see her turning the other way when I looked at her long enough. But when I could see her turning to the right there was an intuitive contradiction in my mind. After looking at it a while I convinced myself that the shadowing was giving me the contradiction. I think the shadow indicates she is turning to the left.But I have driven us off topic. Sorry about that.
Actually, I think that’s perfectly on topic. FAIR’s mission and approach is to say, “See, if you look at it long enough and squint, it also looks like it’s turning right.”. Our mission and approach is to be able to say to those who find FAIR’s versions unconvincing, “Yeah, it was going left when we looked at it, too. Seriously hawkgrrrl, this is the best analogy for apologetics I have ever seen. Thank you for seeing something deeper in my analysis. I’m very grateful to be part of a group like this! I’m communicating with one of the people who is front and center. I’m not all that worried, since I agree that we are trying to do very different things. I don’t expect understanding, but I’d like to be seen as on the same team and useful for some.
