    Thanks for the photo, nibbler. My husband (and, okay, he doesn’t have the greatest fashion sense) breathed a huge, nostalgic sigh. Those are the days he misses, partly just because he was a kid, but mostly because that was when church culture made sense to him. He’s a comitted member, but looks around our stake with its rigid, arbitrary and picayune rules and wonders where his church went.

    How about we coin the phrase “picayune penguin”? (a black-and-white belief that is of no real worth)

    There is a lot of wonderful imagery and application in it.
