I’ve seen this site before, probably because it was referenced here at StayLDS. But it is well worth repeating. Enjoy: http://ldsthoughtfulquotes.blogspot.co.uk/ As a young missionary 50+ years ago, I stumbled across some of these quotes. They made me proud to be a Mormon. But about the same time, the Correlation Committee was commissioned to reign in speculation and standardize the gospel presentation. I understand the need, but surely they didn’t have to throw out the baby with the bath water.
I morn for so much of the good, non-speculative stuff that has been rung out of the SS, PR & RS manuals. IMO we are loosing the heart of the gospel. Well before I start blubbering I had better stop now. I’ll read some more of the quotes & get in a better mood.
