Water does not try to flow, it just flows. The only explanation is that everything is done in a naturally perfect way, without resistance and within the flow of life …”

So perfection isn’t something to be obtained, perfection is the world we are already experiencing?

One reason I’m not a pantheist, is that it suggests that goodness is one with the most evil and disgusting aspects of this world.

I can’t really accept that. I appreciate people are a mixture of good and evil, but are they one and the same?

Do Pantheists organize into groups for support or good works?

I like the teaching that “it is everywhere” and all the time. Is it practical in terms of delivering a meal to the family in crisis?

Obviously it is not needed to serve, but an organization may spread awareness of who needs service, it may help us associate with people that we would normally never come in contact with.

ya…what Orson said. I just have heard John Dehlin say on podcasts sometimes that he can understand the atheistic thinking, but also wonders why you don’t see atheists bringing dinners in time of need.

I just wondered if that same train of thought applied to Pantheism. Is it a good philosophy, but also…does it have an organized effort or support group also? Is there a church?

[Admin Note]: I really like the quotes in this thread, and we are dedicated to learning from differing perspectives, but this is not a place to preach that churches are abominable. The thread will stay open if quotes continue to share inspiring thoughts that are constructive and can assist in the mission of this site; it will be locked if the goal appears to be painting churches as abominable.
