Oh brother Ray. You really have it out for me don’t you. Give me a break.

Who is preaching? I simply answered the question posed by Orson and Heber…explained the belief of pantheism in relation to THEIR question about a pantheistic “CRURCH.”

Not to make waves, but to my knowledge, some pantheists do organize. There are a few “churches”/movements organized with pantheist even in the name. Also, pantheism is a big part of Hinduism…probably why I identity with that faith so much :) Of course, people can disagree with what truly constitutes pantheism, but there are people who identify as such and do organize.

no, cwald, I absolutely don’t have it in for you. Nowhere close. I would say the exact same thing to anyone if they were writing a post promoting anything that called churches abominable – and you’ve been around long enough to know that.

I said I like the quotes in this thread. I do. This site simply isn’t into sweeping broadsides that call churches abominable – and, again, you’ve been around long enough to know that.

NOTHING in my admin comment was personal. Nothing.

[Admin Note]: For those who didn’t read the comment that triggered the first Admin Note, it said that pantheism sees churches as abominable. It was in answer to the questions about whether or not pantheists group together in an organized way and whether there are pantheist churches. It was nowhere close to egregious enough to close the thread, so all it drew was a caution about expanding on that theme and “painting churches as abominable”. Seriously, nothing administratively was done except to make sure the thread didn’t go in that direction.

It is important in a community like this to have full transparency, so it is important to know what caused the Admin Note. There is no need for concern from anyone from this Admin Note. It was a very specific comment about a very specific issue – and, as I said in my non-admin comment, there was absolutely nothing personal in it.

Thanks for explaining, Ray. Cwald, please keep posting here. I’m lovng this thread and I really identify with it. BTW, you were the one who introduced me pantheism on this site several months ago.
