There’s not much in their two posts pending approval that makes me feel like they’ll be a good fit. It sounds like they have more of a bone to pick than any desire to stay LDS… but pain often accompanies the healing process. I tried to do some digging on the user/email. If you want to see familiar sentences from a few years ago posted elsewhere and get a small sample of representative posts:

It actually sounds like he needs life counseling, less us. I am not sure our advice would help. Yes he references God in the end. His problems are much more complicated than a Faith Crisis. I feel for him. If you replace, “I have no faith in god because I think he hates me from before I was born…” with, “Inthenameofjesuschristamen” but kept everything else the same it would sound like several testimonies I’ve heard during F&T meeting. 
In both cases (the post and the person that gives those sorts of testimonies) I’d say it’s someone that needs more people to talk to in real life.
Good points. You can tell how much I tune out F&T meeting. I like going because I can get a read on people. But once it gets to the regulars, I just zone out. Zen time. You guys will do great.
I haven’t responded to his long post because I have been trying to think of how to respond. I agree he sounds like a lonely, bitter old man. He may be lonely because he is bitter. And honestly I don’t think he’s ever been in love, I don’t think he knows what it is. He doesn’t believe in the church and apparently never has, and it seems pretty much the same for God. I’m planning on a brief general response. Well there you have it. Mentally ill not being fully addressed/treated. I say we try to keep the focus on how to StayLDS and leave the therapy to the pros. Exactly.
