DW and I are taking an LDS parenting class. According to the manual – spanking is not a church recommended discipline method.

I found this particularly surprising, especially since DS’s sunbeam’s teacher has asked for permission to spank him when he doesn’t behave… interesting … :think:

Disclosure – I am not trying to imply that spanking, when properly applied, is at all related to abuse.
