    My mother has been going through the stuff she has accumulated over the years and sending things to her family via email. She sent the following this morning, and I immediately thought of our conversations here:

    That’s really cool, Ray. I can see where you get your orthoprax ways. 🙂

    I think religion is about what you believe and the values and practices and symbols you accept that mean something to connect yourself to spirituality.

    “True” religion is when you really truly believe it and therefore live that way, as opposed to just thinking about it. I like many Buddhist teachings, but I don’t truly live like a Buddhist. I live like a Mormon. That’s my true religion, even if there are things within Mormonism that I can’t understand or agree with yet. I still live it.
