GuestJust wanted to let everyone know that I am working on editing two new resource documents. #1 Is a document written by the user Dash175 (whose real name is Donald Ashton). It is titled “What is Official Church Doctrine?” His article is a brief history of how official doctrine develops, attempts to put a fence around a limited set of “Eternal Truths,” and address the differences between what is mistaken as fixed, official doctrine vs the much larger body of policies and teachings.
If anyone wants a copy of this in draft form before I publish it in the Additional Resources section of the website, let me know.
#2 Is a document being written by Swimordie on the topic of Co-dependency and its implications within the Mormon faith. This is still in pretty rough form. I need to do a lot of editing and provide focus and guidance to tailor it to our site’s audience. Any of you that want to review and provide input, let me know.
I am really excited about both. I think they will become great material for our cause.

GuestI think all of us should have access to things like this that will be official resource documents. I propose that they be polished by the person overseeing them (in this case, Brian), posted in our parking lot area and left for editing suggestions for at least two weeks – time for everyone to read and think about suggestions, then to make them. I would rather have the process take a week too long than post something a week too soon. February 20, 2010 at 5:38 am #227760Anonymous
GuestSounds good. I would like everyone’s input who has time to review them. I will start a new topic here on each document. February 22, 2010 at 5:58 pm #227761Anonymous
