Ok so Yesterday I had my telephone counselling session (non church conselling) and after that the mishies came over
THey spoke about Lehi’s vision of the tree and the iron rod
And for the first time in a LONG time…
BOTH me and my wife actually felt REALLY good about the visit
THere was nothing negative at all
Apparantly one of the 2 the last mishies that was in the area (who shall remain nameless) kinda put off investigators as well as those like me who were inactive
The elders here now are really undoing a LOT of bad work
I have made a firm commitment to go to church on the next fast/testimony sunday
I am currently just getting ready to start work and instead of tea I have a different drink in front of me.
It is going to be slow but I am getting there
I have also found a book I bought when I first went to the temple to do Baptisms called “When thou aret converted” By M Russell Balalrd
I never actually read it so I am going to make my way through the first chapter at least over this weekend
