    1. 25% of the time happy. 50% of the time it is just acceptable.

The type of lifestyle that makes me happy isn’t really possible in the modern world. I guess I just figure if I give church a try maybe I can find another acceptable lifestyle.

JS Smith said that happiness is the “object and design of our existence”. So, my questions:

    1. If you were to estimate what percent of the time your hapiness-o-meter is in the “Happy range” within the last year, what would it be, speaking of your life in general?

    2. What generates true happiness for you, whether church/gospel related, or not?

The past year has been rough for me. Probably about 10% of time I was happy…but its a new year…hoping to up my statistics more this year!!

    2. For me, relationships generate true happiness.

I haven’t been incredibly happy the past couple of years, either, and I don’t know why. I probably blame the church a little bit too much, when in reality it is my own decision and attitude that makes the difference.

As for true happiness, it is all that sappy stuff that money can’t buy and that I take for granted. Love, family, friends. I guess I will add experiencing new things, which I guess money definitely can buy.
